Congratulations Geraldine Lewis                           
We would like to commend and congratulate Gerri Lewis who was presented with a special tribute by State Representative Ruth Ann Jamnick. The ceremony was held in June 2000 at the Woman's Bipartisan Entrepreneurship Day legislative breakfast. Gerri and her husband Don started Action Rental in 1985. Since then the business has grown to approximately 25 full-time employees and 10 seasonal employees. In addition to running Action Rental, Gerri is also involved in numerous community service activities including the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce, the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce, the University of Michigan Cancer Center and many more. We would like to thank her for her hard work and applaud her on all of her accomplishments.

EMU Scholarship
Action Rental has endowed a scholarship at Eastern Michigan University.  Begun in 1998, this 10-year commitment assists students in need in attending this fine school.

This scholarship joins the existing scholarship donated by Action Rental for Washtenaw Community College in demonstrating our belief that supporting education is an important role for us as a responsible local business.
